In light of the following facts:
- I love blogging, because I get to write about whatever I feel like on any particular day, and one to two pages single-spaced is just about the span of my attention;
- I may be a new writer, but I am an expert avoider, and the blog is the perfect avoidance alternative to writing for publication;
- As useful as my practice writing blog is in providing practice writing, it is not quite as useful as actually writing the articles I wish to get published;
- I have four weeks during which my older boys are at their father's house before my summer is toast; and
- I would very much like to move my career forward;
it is clear that I must, in fact, put myself on a regime. Let us say posting twice a week, exactly. I'm aiming for Wednesday and Friday, but that may evolve.
All those semi-colons, colons, and stray commas just sent me to the basement to fetch a copy of Strunk & White, as well as The Little, Brown Handbook. I'll take them to my bedside table, but that is no guarantee that I'll read them.

Isn't there a pomo version of Strunk and White? If not, there should be.
Pomo? I'm afraid I don't know what that means, and I'm a little afraid to ask. I looked it up in the handy online Merriam-Webster, and found one entry: a member of an American Indian people of northern California.
Good luck on your publications!!! :D
Merci.
